Our largest natural-light studio, measuring no less than 270 square metres, has undergone a (partial) makeover over the past few months. And no, we haven’t just added a few new props. We’ve really gone back to basics and added some real gems.
Not only with new colours, but also with new settings. New furniture. New energy. From the moment you step inside, the space feels different. Softer, more refined and, above all, more high-end. As if you’ve just walked onto the set of an editorial shoot that somehow also feels like your favourite design hotel. From Marrakech vibes to sophisticated soft minimalism
When we opened The Playground three years ago, the space was inspired by the desert, Marrakech and the clouds in our daydreams. A creative playground full of warm influences and surprising nooks and crannies. But creativity never stands still, and neither do we. Over the past few months, we’ve been working incredibly hard behind the scenes on a partial restyle that perfectly matches how photographers, brands and content creators want to create today.
Curious about the new atmosphere? Think almost edible earthy tones reminiscent of soft toffees, eye-catching beiges, subtle wall textures, matte meets gloss, sculptural design objects and, above all, a sense of calm that still stimulates the senses. The result feels sophisticated, but never distant. As if you’re surrounded by buttery-soft fabrics, suede textures and diffused sunlight that quite literally glides across the walls. Can you picture it already?
Curious about the new atmosphere? Three walls have been completely recoloured. We’ve also added wooden wall panels, inspired by the beloved details from The Loft.The effect? Every corner feels like a brand-new setting. The exclusive textured paint from the eARTh collection by Art-In-Return and The Farm Home creates a beautiful sense of layering that you almost want to touch. And daylight continuously dances across the surfaces, instantly adding more depth to every photograph and video. All of this without needing extensive styling. The space does the work for you.

One of the biggest changes? We’ve deliberately removed some of the furniture. That’s precisely why The Playground feels even bigger. With less visual clutter, there’s more space for your ideas. Your camera literally has more breathing space, and every setting feels clean, calm and editorial. Within our 270-square-metre studio, you’ll still find endless nooks, but now with an even more refined look that works perfectly for:

The restyle also involved a partial furniture swap. The absolute centrepiece is the iconic Ligne Roset Togo sofas. Their sculptural shape, corduroy fabric and relaxed vibe make them perfect for campaigns, interviews, lifestyle shoots and social media content. In addition, The Playground now features, amongst other things, a stylish new bedroom corner (OMG!) and new coffee tables in wood and microcement.
But also designer armchairs, reflective objects, surprising accessories and new styling elements that give every setting a high-end feel. Everything – both existing and new – has been carefully curated to allow you to switch between different atmospheres effortlessly. Do you want a minimalist, editorial, organic or, on the contrary, very fashion-forward look? We’ve got it all for you: in a single studio. Sounds almost too good to be true, doesn’t it?

Thankfully, our iconic daylight hasn’t changed. It’s probably the biggest reason why so many creators have fallen in love with The Playground. With a ceiling height of 4.5 metres and large windows facing east, west and the roof above, the studio feels almost endless.
