Let your imagination run wild at The Playground. Get inspired by the unique canvas in this studio. One big playground for creatives, brands and entrepreneurs. Within 272 square meters of studio space, it's all about pushing the limits of your creative ability.
Stepping into The Playground is like stepping into your most beautiful daydreams. A warm blanket, a cloud of lilac, peach and pink meets you. We stimulate your senses in subtle ways, as you would expect from us. With a minimalist decor, inspired by the pastel colored clouds in our daydreams, The Playground offers an aesthetic experience and creative challenge.
As you've come to expect from Atelier Oost Amsterdam, you'll also find beautiful booth decor and unique photo backdrops at The Playground. We love stairs so we applied as many as four of them here! Give depth to your photos. Use the double staircase as a real eye-catcher, a sliding one for a new dimension and a built-in staircase as a mysterious addition. Give your photography a personal touch with the many, playfully decorated corners with shapes you've never seen before. This allows you to vary endlessly and let your imagination come to life.

Below an overview of the current rates for The Playground. We work with fixed prices and time slots at all times, regardless of whether it concerns an editorial or commercial production.

*The Dutch VAT rate of 21% applies to the prices mentioned, because the studios are located in the Netherlands. The VAT will be added in the checkout. We only work on prepayment. To confirm the booking, payment must be completed within 30 minutes.

With its dreamy color palette, special design objects and amazing light, our studio guarantees the ideal backdrop for any event. The Playground overview
The studio has an aesthetic industrial look & feel: not raw industrial, but with a refined flair. And because The Playground is located on the ground floor, you have easy access through the garage door.
The Playground is enriched with unique, reflective objects to add dimension to your footage. Silver accents, such as an aluminum chair, provide the finishing touch.
The floor plan of The Playground gives an indication of the layout of 272 square meters studio space.
At the top left you will find a small sitting area with large windows on the west. There are various loose pieces of furniture here and there is a swing here. The space is separated by a wall with a round circle with frosted plexiglass.
In the middle you will find different decor pieces and shapes in the wall. Here is also a changing room with make-up mirror.
Furthermore the space is furnished with various furniture and accessories. The Bolia rug under the table has a beautiful texture.
There is also a general area in the studio with kitchenette, dining table and separate room with toilets.
Enjoy beautiful natural light and a sense of endless space due to the level, 4.5-meter-high ceiling and large windows facing East and West. We have have rooftop windows. Book in the morning from 07:00 to 11:00 for a beautiful morning glow, or shoot your images in the afternoon from 15:00 to 18:30 for magical sunlight.
The middle could be more dark. That makes it fun to experiment with extra lightning and flash.

Coffee and tea is included and the price. We will facilitate this for you. During the booking you can use the available equipment to make coffee and tea. We will also provide you with crockery.
Food and catering is not included. We do not facilitate this either. We recommend that you bring your own catering or have it arranged. You can also order food via Thuisbezorgd or UberEats.

Enjoy all the playfully decorated corners so that your photos have a different look every time and make full use of our designer furniture with metallic accents.
We have built the most beautiful settings, with fine see-through pieces for more dimension. The beautiful, bright section is ideal for daylight photographers and the middle section offers plenty of opportunities for the pros who dare to experiment with lights and flash. The Playground provides unforgettable moments and a boost of creativity.
