Now we all know that content quality is mega important when creating a podcast, but just as important is the backdrop! Gone are the days when we recorded podcasts en masse in a dull office or an inspiration-free Zoom call: we'd like ourselves and our guests to take a seat in a slick studio. Someone who has already experienced this is the enthusiastic and inspiring podcast manager Kisha Canwood. With her company Studio Connection by KC, she focuses on conceiving and developing strategies, intros, outros, edits, marketing, planning and much more. This woman does it all! 1. Kisha, what inspired you to become a podcasting manager? And thus to help others grow their business through podcasting?<\/b>
\u2018Podcasts myself I find a very nice medium to listen to and thereby work out new ideas. But I think my main reason is because I noticed what an impact a podcast can have for your business. I find that super to see with my clients; I get a huge energy boost from helping others\u2019. <\/i><\/p>

2. How important is it to have a well-thought-out strategy when setting up a podcast?<\/b>
\u2018Very important: otherwise you are not going to see enough results and your podcast will be low on your priority list. This is because you find that you put a lot of time into this and don't get much in return. But, when you know exactly what you want to get out of your podcast, it's more fun to keep doing it\u2019. <\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

3. For many, the technical side of podcasting can seem intimidating. What are some tips you would give to beginners to improve their recording and filming quality?<\/b>
\u2018I would always advise making two investments for your podcast. 1: a microphone. This really doesn't have to be expensive, as it can be one that you plug into your phone if you would like to record with it. And for beginners, I tip Riverside.fm, which is an online podcast studio, so you know your quality is guaranteed to be good. This tool makes recording mega easy for you because editing is more fun and faster. Are you more advanced, or would you like to work in a real studio? Then I am a fan of Atelier Oost Amsterdam\u2019. <\/i><\/p>

4. We'd like to know more about that. You know better than anyone the importance of a good environment to record in. What do you like about the studios at Atelier Oost Amsterdam?<\/b>
\u2018The spaces are incredibly nice and beautiful to work in, and each has many possibilities. I have been there nine times in total and I experience versatility every time. So for every branding style, you can find a suitable corner<\/a> to record in'. <\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
