\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tYou've probably seen plenty of images of our iconic photography studio The Playground passing by, or maybe you've even been there! For those less familiar with it, this 272-square-metre studio makes the wildest dreams of creatives, brands and entrepreneurs come true and offers a wealth of possibilities. Here, you can get carried away by a mysterious colour palette inspired by the desert. \n

\nWe wanted to talk about the endless possibilities in The Playground in this blog post. Because we would love to tell you about all the different corners I have decorated in The Playground. At Atelier Oost Amsterdam, we find it very important that you can experiment endlessly with different backgrounds. When designing The Playground, I worked with an earthy colour palette with various shades of brown, terra and sand, as well as grey and anthracite. This ensures that lovers of both colour and neutral can find their photography here, and that you can alternate enough between the two. On the walls, the unique paint colours from the The Farm x ART-IN-RETURN collection<\/a> applied for an awesome texture. Especially when sunlight falls on the colours, it creates a breathtakingly beautiful end result.

Speaking of ART-IN-RETURN: we wouldn't be Atelier Oost Amsterdam if my favourite art wasn't hanging on the wall. That's why you'll also find beautiful pieces from the brand at The Playground, with which you can shoot endlessly. This creates a fantastic 3D effect in the background of your production. Now we've talked about the basics: on to the layout and accessories. The Playground is decorated minimalistically, with just enough props, but certainly not too many. So you can move around and play. Stairs for a 'wow' feeling<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

First up: the stairs. Atelier Oost Amsterdam is now inseparable from the most magical staircases, so the pressure was high. The four staircases are all great to experiment with, but the real eye-catcher is my double one. The bottom, extra section can be moved and even rotated however you like. This not only produces great images with fashion photography, for example. You can also go wild with stylish product photos here!

When you are organising an event<\/a> and want to address a group of people, the double staircase is also a favourite. I should know, as I spoke on it during the opening drinks at The Playground. Because you stand higher than your audience, you automatically attract attention. And that amazingly beautiful The Farm x ART-IN-RETURN colour on the wall helps too.

Besides the double staircase, you can also use the built-in staircase, for example, when you want a more mysterious look. This is also very nice for a lingerie shoot. Tip from me: shift one of our unique chairs, such as the black Roly Poly armchair, or place it next to the stairs. That way you can have one model pose on the stairs, and the other perhaps in the chair.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Bring your story to life with playful see-through pieces<\/h2>\nIn The Playground you will find a wealth of playful see-through pieces. I designed two movable see-through pieces with an arch that you can slide and drag yourself. Great for creating extra depth, for an editorial shoot, for example. Choose our arch with curtain for romantic atmospheric images, or have your model playfully sit or lie in an arch for an extra cool look.

Sitting corners for professional photography in Amsterdam<\/h2>\nThe seating areas at The Playground have an inviting and comfortable feel, but with a stylish and minimalist twist. Think of the vibe of a hidden market in Marrakech, styled with a mix of vintage and modern pieces. Do you handle product photography for a cool tableware brand? Then display your plates, bowls and platters on our Ethnicraft oak dining table, combined with matching chairs in the same material. Or opt for silver chairs, such as Vitra's Panton Chair in chrome, for a slightly more unique look. You'll also find plenty of seating space by the large windows, so you can enjoy great, direct light all day long. Or use the transparent curtains for a mysterious, soft effect. Slide our palm tree for a great shadow accent of leaves on the ground or opt for our mirrored objects for reflection photography.

\nWant to get a model to sit in a chair, but just a little differently? Then use my Sabine Marcellis Boa Poof in both pink and beige! These donuts add a stylish snap to any photo and video. Besides product photography, fashion shoots and events, you can of course do a lot of other creative things with The Playground. Interior photographers can go wild with all the different backdrops, in which furniture of any brand can be placed. Or how about a brand of bedding? With 272 square metres of space, you can display one or more beds to create a bedroom feel.

At The Playground, you can also go for personal photography where you want to go next level. How about a branding photo shoot among earthy, enchanting colours? This is guaranteed to achieve an atmospheric, warm look in the images. Or how about maternity photography<\/a>?
